Innovative development of university education to be discussed in Grodno

GRODNO, 27 February (BelTA) – On 26-27 February Grodno will host the international conference to discuss prospects of innovative development of university education, BelTA learned from the press service of the Yanka Kupala Grodno State University.

The international scientific conference "Problems and prospects of innovative development of university education and science" is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the university. The event will be attended by the Education Minister and Information Minister of Belarus, diplomats from various countries, representatives of the Belarusian and foreign university community, administrations of towns in Grodno District and other regions of Belarus, lecturers and students of universities.

On 26 February the university will host a plenary meeting to discuss the operation of modern universities, management and development technologies in education and science, global trends in the optimization of institutions of higher learning, the Bologna format of the European education and the involvement of Belarusian universities in this process.

The forum will unite various sections to discuss traditions and innovations in the education process, information technologies in education and research, innovative management in modern universities, the role of social and humanitarian practices in terms of the globalizing economy and information space, development of modern equipment, technologies and science.

The conference will include a round table dedicated to the development prospects of scientific and innovative activities of university students.

The conference is organized by the Belarusian Education Ministry and the Yanka Kupala Grodno State University.
