In the next few years Belarus is expected to experience an upsurge in the construction of new homes with electric heating, BelTA learned from Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Kukharev during the opening ceremony of the international civil engineering expo Budpragres on 24 September.
According to Vladimir Kukharev, the Architecture and Construction Ministry has done a lot of work to implement electric heating solutions into designs of residential houses. Work is in progress with the Energy Ministry to provide new homes with the necessary amount of electricity and commission additional substations.
"There are no problems now as far as construction is concerned," the deputy prime minister noted.
The government believes that electric heating solutions will become more popular in single-family housing construction. "I think in the near future we will see a significant upsurge in the construction of such homes," Vladimir Kukharev noted.
The international civil engineering expo Budpragres 2019 opened in the Indoor Football Arena on 24 September to run through 27 September. Over 150 leading construction companies from Belarus, Poland, China, Lithuania, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine, and other countries presented their new products. The expo's scope covers virtually all branches of construction, engineering design, art design, beautification, and landscaping. About 30 participants demonstrate large and compact construction machines and road construction machines.
The business events to be held as part of the expo will be interesting for everyone involved in construction, architecture, style design, manufacturing and sale of equipment, engineering systems, materials and plants for beautification.
