The State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus and the Lithuanian Education and Science Ministry have announced a contest of joint R&D projects for the 2019-2020 period, BelTA learned from the committee’s website.
Applications can be submitted in priority avenues of Belarusian-Lithuanian cooperation such as new materials, healthcare, medical equipment and instruments, photonics and laser technologies, pharmaceutics and industrial biotechnologies, information and communication technologies, innovative technologies in agriculture, environment, resource- and energy-saving technologies, humanitarian and social studies.An application is supposed to contain a business plan, written commitments to use the R&D results in practice and to contribute financially to the project. The filled-in forms can be submitted to the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus by 26 April 2018 in written form (three copies) and digital form (compact disks). The contest of joint R&D projects for the 2019-2020 period is closed for Belarusian and Lithuanian scientists and scientific institutions, which received bilateral funding as a result of the contests held for the 2015-2016 period or the 2017-2018 period. The contest of joint R&D projects for the 2019-2020 period has been arranged in line with the Belarusian-Lithuanian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in science and technology of 24 January 2008.
